It was the perfect morning for some kayaking at Bowman Bay! We were there bright and early at 8:30 and had a sweet 1.5 hr guided tour of the area. It was my first time being in a 2 man kayak (and on the ocean!) and at first it felt like every time John moved we were going to tip over. After about 5 min or so, I adjusted (and stopped my girlie screeching!) We navigated around rocks and through fields of kelp, chatted away with others on the tour, and saw some sea urchins and starfish and jellyfish. Afterwards, we went home and checked on Micah and gave him a nurse and then went off for a couple more hours of fun at the Anacortes Farmer's market. We had some yummy brick oven pizza, ice cream, (and Breadfarm potato bread and fudge for later) and a couple other yummy samples of fresh local produce. There was great live music and we really enjoyed our time together! Cheers to 12 years of growing in our love for each other!!!

Oh how great to see these updates Kara & John. A beautiful and serene day on the water!!!! Lovely you spent time with eachother while still honoring your littlest love's needs to see you and nurse and touch base with you! We do too for our Alairadear :) And we love potato bread too!!!!
