Bubble Baths

Today Joel requested a bubble bath..actually he'd have bubbles everytime if I'd let him!  He just has such a fun loving spirit!  Elianna's not opposed to bubbles, but she doesn't get as excited about them as Joel.  She's more into quiet, thoughtful exploration of them so far. She loves the bath toys and splashing a lot.  Hope they will always enjoy baths this much!!!

Eli's still obsessed with dogs and Joel was excited to play in the giant windy pumpkin with the balloons again this year. We also saw some turkeys, chickens, ducks, pigs, and donkeys. It started out cold, but soon the sun broke through and we had a fun couple of hours here.

First Haircut

Eli's first haircut went well. (I can't believe we waited until she was almost 20 months!) She started out looking quite nervous as I sat her on the booster seat and took a step back; so out came the strawberry sucker and all was right in the world! I had her take a couple inches off the back and even out the bangs (hoping to grow it all out one length). She's got her daddy's calm personality most of the time, which I am very thankful for.

Hands On

On the way home from our Great Wolf experience, we stopped at the Hands On Children's Museum in Olympia. The kids really enjoyed it and we could have easily spent 3 hours there!
