Enjoy the mouthwatering picture of my Grandma B's carrot cookies with orange icing...cause I'm gonna eat them ALL (ha ha ha)! They are so yummy, yes. Joel especially likes these. Elianna just likes the icing! They are a little sunshine during these dark months of wintery weather. Thinking of all the great times and yummy food we had at Grandma B's house...and missing her too.We decided to give Joel & Elianna an early birthday gift! It's a running bike that teaches them to balance; and once they master that, they're ready for a regular bike. Joel made it all the way around the loop once on it and seems to like it. So far he's just walking it, but I'm sure by summer he'll be running and doing tricks! It's for ages 2-5 so it should get plenty of use and provide a fun time expending energy...if we ever get a day without rain and wind!
John had a good 32nd birthday. We went out to eat at his favorite Mexican resturant and he opened a few cards and presents. I got him a super nice black/grey sweater and some fleece pants that he's addicted to! He looked so handsome in his new sweater at church this past Sunday!
We have verbal orders for Whidbey Island for the next year and a half! That doesn't translate to anything official yet, but it's a good first step of the process at least. We really want to stay here!!!
