Explaining how Sarge & Lizzy match up with his Cars book.
About the time we started potty training, Joel started in with how he couldn't match up some character's in his Disney book (which contains a few Car's stories). I must have heard, "Mama, I don't have Sarge & Lizzy...I need them, I need to match them up! Mama! Sarge & Lizzy!!!" about 5 times every day for a week straight until these came in the mail from Grandma & Grandpa Telenga today! Grandma Kathy wanted to reward him for being potty trained...so I put the bug in her ear, knowing these would be his dream come true. These are the first toys I can remember him really wanting and asking for. He is obsessed with cars like any boy is, I suppose. We don't own the movie yet (for this reason!). I worry if we did, he'd never want to watch things like Boz the Green Bear, Meet the Sight Words, and Signing Time again LOL! Surely, nothing could compete with the Cars movie at this moment in time. We'll stick to the story books and metal characters for now (0:
