Engrossed in a movie...don't think they even noticed I was taking a pic!
Joel enjoyed his chocolate treat just a little.
A pretty sunny snow day. Jin-Sook wanted to get away from the snow of MT and enjoy some sunshine while here visiting...
We had a fun week getting to host my SBS teacher (who I knew 10 years ago just a little), Jin-Sook. She has been a missionary for 20 years with Youth With A Mission and is on a much needed furlough. I wondered why she'd want to come and hang out with my 2 screaming kids...but she said that it would be good for her refreshment. I wonder if she thought that the night Eli cried for 3 hours from 10:15pm until 1:15am?! We had a great time eating a few Koreans dishes and praying together. We hit the Ladies Night Out scene Friday, thanks to Uncle Ryan & fiancee Erica watching the kids. We both got haircuts(which turned out great since we got a guy who was a perfectionist!) and made a beautiful candle...we had a good visit with my neighbor, Lynn, too, who just started coming to Lighthouse (what an answer to prayer!!). She hooked Jin-Sook up with a ton of Joyce Meyer's DVD's (she's a BIG fan)...which really blessed her. Sat we took a little daytrip over to Monroe to see some old friends at the YWAM base there. It was really wonderful to see how everybody had changed and their new building almost finished. Sunday was a crazy day. Sleep deprived, I vaguely heard my conscience telling me to check the nursery schedule...but too caught up in getting ready, I forgot. I made sure Jin got prayed over at church by the pastors...but then found out I was on for nursery and my partner forgot too!! How foolish I am somedays...but everyone has grace for me and I am humbled once more. We invited Lynn over for dinner that night and ate a special Korean beef stir-fry (Grigoly..no idea how to spell that!). It was so yummy and such great company! We were sad to see her go. She is so transparent, passionate about God, and a ray of sunshine to us and the world...a true hero of the faith that we can look up to.
